Meet the Trustees
Jo’s two daughters attended Watford Grammar School for Girls, where she was Chair of the Parents’ Association for a number of years.
Jo has served as a parent governor and been clerk to the governing body at a number of local primary schools.
Jo works at a girls’ independent school in north London, and became a Women of Vision Trustee in 2018.
Katherine Hedges taught at North London Collegiate School for a number of years before her recent retirement. A Watford Grammar Old Girl, Katherine was appointed a Trustee in 2017.
Adrian is a qualified archivist by background and holds a PhD in History from the University of London (2005).
He is also trustee and Vice-Chair of the board / Company Secretary for the Ehlers-Danlos Support UK and is chair of the Archives and Records Association conference 2022-5.
Helen is the CEO/Founder of Dignify, a charity working to help children and young people have healthy relationships online and offline. She is also a volunteer Senior Leader at Wellspring Church, Watford, alongside her husband. They are the parents of three adult children, two of which previously attended Watford Grammar School for Girls.
Helen was appointed as a Trustee in 2022.
Sylvia began teaching geography in 1992 at Tring School Hertfordshire. Since then she has taught in a range of schools in London to Botswana, joining Watford Grammar School for Girls in 2007 as Assistant Head.
Sylvia was appointed as Deputy Head in 2014 and ultimately permanent Headteacher in April 2018. Sylvia was appointed a Trustee in 2018.
