Jeff Herman steps down after 24 years service

It is with sadness that we announce that Mr Jeff Herman is stepping down as Chair and Treasurer of the Women of Vision Trust.

Jeff joined the Governing Body at Watford Grammar School for Girls over 30 years ago when his daughter joined the school and he was a founding Trustee when the Trust was established in 1998. Under his leadership the fund has utilised parental donations to provide financial support for the school's largest infrastructural changes from the building of Hyde House, The Tennet Centre, the refurbishment of Lady’s Close to most recently the replacement windows in the Main Building.

Miss Sylvia Tai, Headmistress and fellow Women Of Vision Trustee, commented "I can confidently say that Jeff has been instrumental in making your child’s experience at WGGS as good as it can be. I wish him a happy retirement and he leaves with our gratitude. It is this selfless dedication of individuals, like Jeff, that have made WGGS the school that so many of us are proud of."

Thank you Jeff for your hard work establishing the Trust and for giving so much of your time and expertise.
